Christmas holidays we come back with all the information about the course: “Guidelines for writing and publishing a scientific paper” the JAIL young researchers are organizing during the ASLO meeting in Granada. As we are aware
that the information showed in the meeting official webpage is quite limited,
here we present all the details about the course:

– 14:00. “Publishing in scientific journals”
Speaker 1, PI: “How to deal with the white paper” (45 min talk)
Speaker 2, Editors of journals: “Main points to take into consideration for
publication” (45 min talk)
Speaker 3, Referee: “How to review a paper” (45 min talk)
14:00
– 16:00. Questions, discussion with drinks and snacks

Criteria:
this course is open to all students and early-career researchers but priority
will be given to those who are members of the AIL, ASLO, and Iberoamerican
limnological societies; places will be filled by order of registration.
Course fee: 15
EUR, to be paid on site.
We really
encourage you to participate or if you are not attending the ASLO meeting,
please distribute this information among your colleagues.
And
remember, the last registration day is the 31st
of January. So hurry up (there are limited places) and don´t miss the date!
